Coimbatore : The budding young yoga team from Coimbatore bagged a total of 17 medals at the 4th National Yoga competition organised by the Yoga Cultural Society at Port Blair, Andaman from April 26 to 29.
Among 250 participants in the competition, the students of Sri Kamali Yogalaya bagged 17 medals including 10 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze and two team trophies. The competition was conducted for various age groups beginning from 5 years. Samuktha, Yashashwini, Kani Amuthan, Tamilisai, Mirthula Shree, Pranesh, Sushil, Sathvika, Nethra Shree and Dinesh were successful in their respective categories.
In the timed 'Aasana' event, Kani Amuthan, Sathvika, Pranesh, Sushil and Dinesh emerged successful. Trainers Ganesh, Kalaiselvi and Kamali congratulated the team for their achievement.
