Coimbatore : To take the IPL fervour to all parts of the country, in 2015 the BCCI initiated the VIVO IPL Fan Parks to get the fans closer to the action, replicating a stadium-type atmosphere.

This season, the VIVO IPL Fan Park is all set to enthrall the cricket fans in Coimbatore on May 4-5 at Codissia grounds. The fan park here is expected to draw fans in large numbers, especially school and college students.
The fan Park set up will provide the spectators the feel of watching a live IPL match in a stadium. Four matches will be screened this weekend here, on Saturday two matches will be screened where Delhi Capitals will play against Rajastan Royals at 4 pm. And, at 8 pm Royal Challengers Bangalore will play against Sunrises Hyderabad.

On Sunday, the big game of Chennai Super Kings playing against Kings XI Punjab will be screen at 4 pm and Mumbai Indians against Kolkata Knight Riders at 8 pm. The organisers are expecting a massive crowd to watch the mighty CSK match on Sunday.
Apart from cricket, gaming activities for kids like Bouncing castle, Trampoline for kids, Cricket nets for cricket fans to play and win, Cricket Roulette, make my banner, fan painting has been arranged.
The Fan Park at Codissia can accommodate a total of 8000 spectators, with separate place for senior citizens and the differently-abled. By participating in the contest, the fans can win two VIVO mobiles on each day.
