Tirupur : South India level 5-A side football tournament 'Mahi's Football Fest' kick started at Tirupur on Satuday. The tournament is being conducted for boys and girls, under two age categories of U10 and U12 years of age.
Tirupur : South India level 5-A side football tournament 'Mahi's Football Fest' kick started at Tirupur on Satuday. The tournament is being conducted for boys and girls, under two age categories of U10 and U12 years of age.
The tournament is featuring around 64 teams including 10 girls team in U12 category conducted on knockout and league basis. Top teams from Tamil Nadu, Kerala and karnataka are taking part in the tournament which is organised by Mahi's Sports academy.
Today being the first day of the tournament, the participants showed their utmost skills and vied for the huge 6 foot Trophy. The tournament was inaugurated by Mothilal, President of Mahi's Sports academy.
P. Paramasamy, DSP, Avinashi will be the guest for the prize distribution ceremony and will distribute the prizes to the winners of the tournament.
