Coimbatore : M. Ranjith Kumar pursuing B.Com at Dr. NGP College of Arts and Science here in the city has bagged silver medal in the National level kick boxing championship held at Pune recently.
Coimbatore : M. Ranjith Kumar pursuing B.Com at Dr. NGP College of Arts and Science here in the city has bagged silver medal in the National level kick boxing championship held at Pune recently.
Coimbatore lad, Ranjith participated in the Wako India national kick boxing championship in the under 57 kg category which was organised by Wako India kick boxing federation at Pune, featuring more than thousand boxers across the country.
Earlier in December 2018, this young boxer won bronze medal in the national level held at Kolkata and several gold medals in District and State level competitions across the country.

Ranjith's journey in kick-boxing began from a summer camp at Nehru Stadium where he was introduced to kickboxing, as a sport. Initially, due to his school board exams he could not continue the sport but his passion towards the game provoked him to restart the sport again in 2018.
"Everyday, I practice two hours in the morning and almost spend three hours at the gym. I travel 30 kms to my training academy where I've been trained by Prem, an International kickboxing coach at the Prem MMA Academy in Kuniyamuthur," says Ranjith Kumar.
Ranjith's also expressed that with perseverance he would be able to achieve his dream, 'gold for India'.
