Coimbatore: 'SPORAG 2019' a state level inter-collegiate tournament for Agricultural Colleges was held at the Annamalai University, Faculty of Agriculture from March 27 to 29. Tamil Nadu Agricultural University's (TNAU) basket ball and volley ball teams participated in both the men's and women's categories in the tournament.
Coimbatore: 'SPORAG 2019' a state level inter-collegiate tournament for Agricultural Colleges was held at the Annamalai University, Faculty of Agriculture from March 27 to 29. Tamil Nadu Agricultural University's (TNAU) basket ball and volley ball teams participated in both the men's and women's categories in the tournament.
TNAU's women's basket ball team won the Winners Rolling Trophy, while the men's basket ball team and the women's volley ball team won the Runners Rolling Trophy. The best player award in women's basketball was bagged by Nandhini of TNAU. Dr. G Raghavan, the Director of Physical Education, TNAU, led the team as Team Manager-cum-Coach.
The Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and the Deans of Students Welfare, Agriculture, Engineering and Horticulture Departments lauded the winners for bringing laurels to TNAU.
