On the second day of the tournament, PPG Institute of Technology played against Hindustan Institute of Technology and defeated them by 4-0 to register their first win. Devine Anton of PPG scored three goals for his side.
In another match, CIT playing their first game against Dr. NGP Institute of Technology defeated NGP by 3-0 to register their first win. Edison of CIT scored two goals for his team.
In another qualifier, it was a drawn affair between Sri Sakthi Institute of Technology and Kumaraguru College of Technology, as well as the match between Karpagam College of Engineering and Sri Sakthi Engineering College. Hindustan Institute of Technology beat Park College of Technology in another rmatch.
