Coimbatore : Karthik Sepak Takraw Academy from Coimbatore and Tirunelveli's Jayendra Saraswathi School entered the finals of the 14th South India level Invitational Sepak Takraw Tournament for PSG Tech Trophy ongoing at PSG tech college in the city.
Coimbatore : Karthik Sepak Takraw Academy from Coimbatore and Tirunelveli's Jayendra Saraswathi School entered the finals of the 14th South India level Invitational Sepak Takraw Tournament for PSG Tech Trophy ongoing at PSG tech college in the city.
The teams have qualified in the Regu (three member) and doubles category of the tournament in which total of 18 teams including 11 men's team and 7 school teams from various part of South India are taking part.
In the men Regu category, semi final, Tirunelveli defeated Jayendra Alumni team by 2-1 while in the another semi finals Chennai beat TACT, Coimbatore by 2-0 to enter the finals.
While in the doubles category Jayendra Alumni won TACT, Coimbatore as 2-0 in the semi finals and Tirunelveli edged Chennai by 2-0 to qualify to the finals.
