Coimbatore : It was a golden double for BVM global School as they clinched the trophy in both boys and girls category of the District level inter school football tournament 'BVM Global Soccer Fest' organized by BVM global senior secondary school here on Thursday.
Coimbatore : It was a golden double for BVM global School as they clinched the trophy in both boys and girls category of the District level inter school football tournament 'BVM Global Soccer Fest' organized by BVM global senior secondary school here on Thursday.
A total of 18 boys team and 4 girls team across the district took part and showcased their talent. The tournament was inaugurated by the school Principal Syeda Sarfraz along with physical directors of various schools.
In the boys category, BVM Global and Dr. Dasarathan public school were the two teams qualified for the finals of the soccer fest in which BVM Global School defeated Dr. Dasarathan Public school by 3-0 to lift the trophy.
While in the girls category, BVM Global School clashed with Delhi Public school in the finals in which BVM sealed the opponent at ease, 5-0 and emerged as champions of BVM Global soccer fest.
M.Dinakaran, National Referee and coach was the chief guest to the prize distribution. He gave away the prizes to the winners of the BVM Global soccer fest 2019.
