Coimbatore : The PSG College of Arts and Science (PSG CAS) remained unbeaten throughout the tournament to claim the championship in the SDAT's (Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu) inter-college hockey league held at the Sri Sakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, on Tuesday.

The tournament was conducted in the round robin league format, with four teams participating in the tournament. The teams were PSG CAS, Dr. NGP College, Sri Sakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Kumaraguru College of Technology. Of these four teams from the city, PSG CAS emerged champions without facing a defeat (9 points) in the tournament, while Dr. NGP College which had lost only to PSG CAS claimed the runners-up spot in the tournament.
Jayachandran, District Sports Officer, SDAT Coimbatore, congratulated the winners of the tournament and presented them with awards and certificates.
