Coimbatore : P. Mithun of Sri Krishna College of Arts and Science piled an unbeaten 101 off 65 balls to enable his college score a convincing 167-run victory over PPG Institute of Technology. The match was part of the district-level inter-college cricket tournament for the SKASC Trophy 2019, held at the Sri Krishna Institutions grounds on Tuesday.

Sri Krishna CAS won the toss and elected to bat first, dominating with their batting right from the start. Opening batsman P Mithun went on to score a quickfire 65-ball century which helped the team post 235 runs on board, in the allotted 20 overs.
Chasing the huge target, PPG IT lost their way completely and were all out for 68 runs, resulting in a thumping win for Sri Krishna CAS.

About 25 teams are participating in the tournament that is being held at the Sri Krishna Institutions grounds. P Baby Shakila, the Principal of Sri Krishna CAS inaugurated the tournament.
