The Nilgiris : Kumaran Colony team clinched victory in the Public Vs Police friendly volleyball tournament held at Kotagiri in the Nilgiris.
In a bid to ensure an amicable relationship between the police and the public, the Sholurmattam Police organised a friendly volleyball ball tournament in Kotagiri. More than 10 teams from the public and the police participated in the tournament in which Kumaran Colony team and Police team were qualified for the finals.
At the finals, Kumaran Colony team emerged as winners. Upper Coonoor station Inspector, Jeyamurugan and Kotagiri Sub-Inspector Nagaraj handed over the prizes to the winning team.
