Coimbatore : PSG Sarvajana and Stanes basketball club has made into the second round of the 13th Sri Devarajulu Memorial Basketball trophy for men held at Corporation basketball court near Nehru Stadium, here.
As many as 28 teams across the city took part in the tournament in which PSG Sarvajana and Stanes along with other 12 teams have been qualified for the second round of the tournament which is to be held from today at Corporation basketball court.
Results : Texcity Sports Club lost to PSG Sarvajana by margin of 32-82. Sanjay of Sarvajana scored 20 points for his side. In another match, Stanes registered their first victory over Goldencity by 68-64 and Gokul (19) of Goldencity scored the highest score of the match.
Total prizes worth Rs. 50,000 would be presented to the winners of the tournament.
