Coimbatore : As many as 250 paddlers energetically participated in the second edition of the Coimbatore District open and Inter-club Table Tennis ranking tournament, organised by all the coaches and academies in Coimbatore, at the YTTA Paddlerz Table Tennis Academy on December 2.
Coimbatore : As many as 250 paddlers energetically participated in the second edition of the Coimbatore District open and Inter-club Table Tennis ranking tournament, organised by all the coaches and academies in Coimbatore, at the YTTA Paddlerz Table Tennis Academy on December 2.
The tournament aims to promote sport and encourage more kids to play table tennis and produce state-level and national players from the District. Various players from Coimbatore, Mettupalayam and Pollachi participated in the tournament.
The tournament was conducted under various categories - Mini Cadet, Cadet, Sub Junior, Junior, Youth and Men. A total of 96 prizes were distributed to the winners of the tournament.
Samyutha (YTTA-Paddlerz), Sai Nitiish (YTTA-Paddlerz), Tamil Ilakiya (St.Joseph), Sockalingam (YTTA-Paddlerz), Jeshmitha (SPOTT), Adarsh (YTTA-Paddlerz), Sri Nivi (CTTF), Naresh (ATTA), Deepak Krishna (SJN), Shankar (SPOTT) were the winners in the various categories.
