Aushik Srinivas' five-wicket haul helps Sri Ramakrishna Mills Sports Club notch up a win over Suryabala CC

Coimbatore: A sizzling bowling spell (5/14) from the left-arm spinner R Aushik Srinivas and some blazing fast bowling from K Gowtham Thamaraikannan (3/10) helped Sri Ramakrishna Mills SC to bundle out Suryabala CC for a cheap score of 60, in the TNCA-CDCA first division league match held at the PSG IMS grounds, on Sunday.

Batting first, Suryabala CC lost their batsmen in regular intervals and were all out for just 60 in the 26th over. Chasing a very low score, the opener N Mohammad Ashik scored a quick 44 to achieve the target in the 13th over. Suryabala C.C (60 in 25.1 overs, Gowtham Thamaraikannan 3/10, R Aushik Srinivas 5/14) lost to Sri Ramakrishna Mills Sports Club 64/1 in 12.1 overs (N Mohammad Ashik 44*).

In another TNCA-CDCA second division league match held at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology grounds, Rainbow 1972 M.M.C.C. defeated Vijay CC by 14 runs. V Barani Kumar's fifer ensured that Rainbow 1972 M.M.C.C. will clinch their victory in a low-scoring battle against Vijay CC. 

Rainbow 1972 M.M.C.C - 117 in 33.3 Overs (S Senthamizh Selvan 46, V Rahul Shankar 36, P Selva Kumar 4/15) defeated Vijay Cricket Club 103 in 30.3 Overs (G Prabhu Kumar 31, V Barani Kumar 5/23).
