Sri Ramakrishna M.H.S.S scored 231/2 in 25 overs (B M Prasanna 106* (76), R A Dev Prasad 38, S Vinay 44*) to beat Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Vidyalaya C.B.S.E School (39 in 21.5 overs, N Dayanandhan 4/7).
In another quarter final match between Sachidhanandha Jothi Niketan I.S and National Model Senior Secondary School, Sachidhanandha scored 204/6 in 25 overs (S S Magilan 96, N K Hariharan 46) to defeat National Model Senior Secondary School (70/2 in 25 overs). While in yet another quarter finals match at Sri Sakthi College, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Vidyalaya M.H.S.S scored 102/7 in 25 overs (R R Akileshwar 35) beating S.B.O.A M.H.S.School (55 in 21.4 overs, T G Mithun 4/10). In another match, P.S.B.B Millennium School scored 108/6 in 25 overs (K.Sriram Vikram 32, Eklayya Raichand 3/21) to defeat The Indian Public School (39 in 13.5 overs, K Karthik Rahul 4/9 which included a hat trick).
