Coimbatore: Students enthusiastically participated in the the 41st Coimbatore Sahodaya Schools Complex's Inter-District Senior Athletic Meet held at the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology in the outskirts of the city, on Wednesday.
Coimbatore: Students enthusiastically participated in the the 41st Coimbatore Sahodaya Schools Complex's Inter-District Senior Athletic Meet held at the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology in the outskirts of the city, on Wednesday.
As many as 1500 students from various CBSE schools from Coimbatore, Erode, Karur and Namakkal took part in the meet. A total of 64 schools enrolled their athletes in the Meet which is being conducted under various categories - Under 14, 16 and 19 years of age for both boys and girls. About 36 events were conducted and 300 prizes awarded, including overall championship and individual awards, to the winners.
Mohan Kumaravel, Reshi Varma, Bharath Kumar, Vinay Vikkranth, Sarveshwar SD, Hari, Dev Anand, Lalith Kumar, Loguprasath, Hari Karthik, Ashwin, Sabari Prenesh, Prabodh Sathish, Rohan B Mahendra were the winners in the Boys category.
In the Girls category, Gobika, Vidharsini, Rithanya Shree, Sneeka, Guru Akshya, Swetha, Athmika, Vidhya, Sangami, Subika, Daffny Sel Suresh, Aisvarya, Avanthika, Prakalyashree were the winners.
