Coimbatore : A sizzling bowling performance (5 for 45) from S Madhan Kumar helped RKS Kalvinilayam I.C.C to register their third consecutive victory in the TNCA-CDCA 3rd Division League 2018-19 for the N Dhamodharan Welfare Trust Trophy, held at the Rathinam Technical Campus ground on Sunday.

Suryabala Cricket Academy scored 209 in 37.2 Overs (S Roopan Vinayak 37, K Praveen Kumar 72,
C Sivanesan 37 and S Madhan Kumar of RKS scalped 5/45). Batting second, the top order batsmen failed to give them a good start, but the middle order batsmen N Mohan Kumar along with G Alagappan made chasing the score look easy for RKS. A quickfire 47 off 31 balls from Mohan helped RKS to chase
down the target in the 37th over. RKS Kalvi Nilayam I.C.C scalped the match with 211/6 in 36.2 overs (N Mohan Kumar 47, G Alagappan 37).
In another 3rd Division match at PSG IMS, C Srii C.C scored 270 in 47.3 overs (R Ram Kumar 55, C Parkunan 80, T R Venkatesa Babu 49, T Hejin Prakash 38, S Prakash 3/48, P Arul Prakash 3/47) to defeat Noyyal Ninjas C.C 159 in 41.4 overs (B Shankar 36, S Prakash 41, C Parkunan 4/42).
In yet another 4th Division league match held at PSG IMS, G Cricket Club scored 145 in 35.3 overs (Dhanashekar 51*, Venkatesh 33, C Madhu 4/40, S Janarathanan 3/17) but ended up losing to E.A.P Cricket Academy 149/2 in 24.2 overs (A V Abhilash 76*, S Janarthanan 51*).
At Sri Shakthi College, Coimbatore Raiders C A scored 124 In 29.3 overs (S Maheshram 31, K Gokul 30,
S Sureshkumar 4/17) but lost to Coimbatore Friends C.C 125/6 in 30.5 Overs (K Sabarikumar 30*).
