Coimbatore: The students of GRG School of Management studies won the first prize at 22nd edition of National Student Management Games, the prestigious Pan-India annual business simulation competition held for business school students across India.
Coimbatore: The students of GRG School of Management studies won the first prize at 22nd edition of National Student Management Games, the prestigious Pan-India annual business simulation competition held for business school students across India.

The GRG team represented by E. Priyadarshini, B.P. Yashwanti, Reema, Anne Mohan, and N. Karthik exemplified their skills to emerge as ultimate winners in the Grand finale which were held at Coimbatore.
More than 175 teams from 44 different institutions from all over India competed in the SMG 2018.
While the Regional rounds were conducted in Hyderabad, Pune, Vadodara, New Delhi, Bangalore & Coimbatore.
The Coimbatore Management Association (CMA) has partnered AIMA in conducting the Southern Regional Round at Coimbatore and all India Finals. All India finals of the NSMG 2018 was conducted at Firebird Institute of Research in Management, Coimbatore on 24th November 2018.
A good 15 teams qualified from the various regional rounds participated in the finals.
The SMG is played on indigenously developed software called “Chanakya”, a proprietary 'Business Simulation Software'.
The valedictory function for the Grand Finale was attended by S. Prashant, President of CMA, D.K.Gupta, Dy. Director, AIMA, U. K. Ananthapadmanabhan, Consultant Health Care & Past President, CMA, Dr. S. K. Sundararaman, Mg. Director, ShivaTexyarn Ltd., & Mg. Trustee, Firebird Institute of Research in Management, Ravi Jangra, Dy. Director AIMA and others.
Teams which emerged as national winners included:
SGT University, Gurgaon, won the Second place, represented by Gojanand Sharma, Nicky Bhatnogar, Simran, Rishabh Singh. And, Pacific Institute of Management, Udaipur, won the third place, represented by Aman Shrimal, Praghati Khandelwal, Manisha Jethi and Shivani Jain.​
