Coimbatore: Young shooting champion, N. Nivetha of Coimbatore Rifle Club has made the city proud once again by bagging bronze medal in the 62nd National Shooting Championship at Oases JDA Shooting Range, Jaipur.
Coimbatore: Young shooting champion, N. Nivetha of Coimbatore Rifle Club has made the city proud once again by bagging bronze medal in the 62nd National Shooting Championship at Oases JDA Shooting Range, Jaipur.

At the championship which started on November 16, shooters from various part of India took part and showcased their skills.
Nivetha teamed up with Prithiviraj Thondaiman (Pudukottai Royal Sports Club, TN) and represented TN and secured bronze medal in the Mixed Trap Team event that was held on November 23.
Nivetha has been in the Indian team for the last 5 years. She has represented India in the Shotgun Trap event at the 2017 World Cup, Italy and 2017 World Championship, Moscow.
The gold medal was bagged by Manavjit and Rajeswari Kumari with a score of 135/150 representing Punjab, and the silver medal was bagged by Fahd Sultan and Soumya Gupta with a score of 133/150 representing Delhi.
