Winning the toss and batting first, Devil Strokers failed to resist the pressure imposed by EAP CA bowlers, and lost their batsmen in regular intervals. C Madhu's pace attack was enough to bundle them out for just 104 runs in 34.2 overs. Chasing a low score, EAP CA batsmen did very well to chase down the target in just 18 overs with 8 wickets remaining. A steady innings from S Janarthanan helped EAP to chase the score with ease.
