Coimbatore : Students enthusiastically participated in the State level road cycling selection hosted by SRSI Matriculation Higher Secondary School in the city outskirts today.
More than 100 students from various parts of Tamil Nadu participated in the selection trials. The selection trials were conducted under various age categories-Under 14, 17 and 19 for both boys and girls.
Top four students from each category will represent Tamil Nadu for national level competitions which will be held in Pune later this year. The selection trials were inaugurated by
Mr. V Ramakrishnan, Managing Trustee of SRSI School.
Winners
Boys: J Michael Antony ( CMS School, Coimbatore), A Aadhith Kumaresan ( Velammal Matric. School, Chennai) and L Christopher ( Karaikkudi Maharishi Vidhya Mandir) secured the first place in their respective category.
Girls: J Srimathy (St. Joseph HSS, Thoothukudi), P Pavithra (Government High School, Madurai) and C Gunamani ( Chidambaram Chettiar Girls School, Sivagangai) bagged first place in the respective category.
