Coimbatore Aavin Company is world class certified. Ravi Kumar, General Manager, Coimbatore Avin, said, “The Coimbatore District Cooperative Milk Producers Union has been awarded the ISO (22000 - 2018) certification under the guidance of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin, Dairy Minister Nasser and Dairy Commissioner Nandagopal.
Coimbatore Aavin purchases quality milk from 349 primary co-operative milk producers' associations in Coimbatore district. It is fortified at the Pachapalayam Dairy premises and sells milk and milk by-products to consumers of ghee, butter, milk goa, spices, milk, buttermilk and yoghurt. In addition, Coimbatore district will continue to provide quality milk to milk consumers at reasonable prices in the future as per the guidelines of the government.
