Tirupur: The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) celebrated the 62nd birthday of their leader and Chidambaram MP, Thol Thirumavalavan, with a series of events in Madathukulam, Tirupur district. The celebrations included flag hoisting ceremonies and the distribution of free meals to the public.
In the Periyavattaram area of Madathukulam, a free meal distribution program was organized under the leadership of Seat Cover Sekar, the VCK Madathukulam Town Secretary. T. Sathishkumar, the Tirupur South District Secretary, inaugurated the event.
The function saw the participation of numerous party officials and members. Notable attendees included Ponneeswaran, the Madathukulam Assembly Constituency Secretary; Sittibabu, the Madathukulam Union Secretary; C.T.C. Sathiyamoorthy, the State Vice President of the Government Transport Corporation LLF; Udumalpet Ibrahim Ali; Tamilarasan, former Madathukulam Union Organizer; Prabu, Deputy Secretary of Kadathur Puthur Camp; Pilaventhan from Madathukulam; Jayaprakash, the Kaniyur Town Secretary; and Thangavel, the Treasurer.
Simultaneously, flag hoisting ceremonies were conducted at various locations including near the Madathukulam bus stand, Kannadiputhur, Periya Vattaram, and Kazhugarai. Sathishkumar, the Tirupur South District Secretary, hoisted the party flag at these events, which were attended by several party executives.
The celebrations highlighted the strong presence and organizational capabilities of the VCK in the Madathukulam region, showcasing their support for their leader Thol Thirumavalavan on his birthday.
