Power Outage Scheduled in Thondamuthur Area for Maintenance Work

The affected areas, including Thondamuthur, Deenampalayam, Uliyampalayam, Thaliyur, Kembanur, Muthipalayam, Kalikkanaickenpalayam, Poochiyur, Puthupalayam, Kulathupalayam, and West Chithirai Chavadi


Coimbatore: The electricity board has announced a scheduled power outage in the Thondamuthur region for the upcoming maintenance work at the local substation. The maintenance is part of the regular monthly activities aimed at ensuring a reliable power supply. The affected areas, including Thondamuthur, Deenampalayam, Uliyampalayam, Thaliyur, Kembanur, Muthipalayam, Kalikkanaickenpalayam, Poochiyur, Puthupalayam, Kulathupalayam, and West Chithirai Chavadi, will experience a power cut from 9 AM to 4 PM on January 9, 2024. Residents are advised to plan their activities accordingly and make arrangements to compensate for the lack of power supply during these hours.

The electricity board has requested the cooperation of the affected consumers and regrets any inconvenience caused due to these essential maintenance works. The board also recommends the use of surge protectors for electronic devices as a precautionary measure during the resumption of the power supply.
