The online CAT (Common Aptitude Test) of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), conducted by the Institute of Science (IISc) on Sunday at 48 centres across the state, has been cancelled.
A circular issued by KSRTC said they had to cancel the exam due to technical glitches. The fresh date will be intimated at the earliest. Over 47,000 students had registered for the exam for class-III supervisory posts, of which 5,393 appeared. As soon as the exam began at 11am, the English version of the question paper was uploaded whereas, for the Kannada version, the examiners encountered a technical problem.
The exam centres were mostly in Bengaluru and in places like Mangaluru, Davanagere, Hassan, Mysuru, Mandya, Tumakuru, Haveri, Hubballi, Belagavi, Hospete, Bidar, Ramanagara. Candidates will be given free travel facility in KSRTCbuses when the exam is held later.
