5 of family killed in bus-car collision in Ludhiana, Punjab

In a fatal road mishap, five of a family were killed after a bus collided with a car in Punjab’s Ludhiana on Tuesday evening. The deceased people include three children.

According to reports, the accident took place after the driver of the car tried to save a stray dog and lost control of the vehicle. The car subsequently rammed into a bus coming from the opposite direction.

Victims were rushed to a hospital where the doctors declared them dead. Several others were also injured in the unfortunate incident.

Police have registered a case against the bus driver and the conductor who fled from the spot.
