1 Dead, 9 Missing in Bihar Boat Tragedy

Aurangabad: One person has died after a boat carrying 18 people, including two school children, sank in Punpun river of Bihar's Aurangabad district on Tuesday.

Eight people have so far been rescued while 9 others are still missing. The search rescue operation is underway.

As per latest reports, the SDRF team is also reaching the spot.

Aurangabad, like most parts of the state, has been hard hit by incessant rains and the consequent flooding of rivers which have disrupted normal life.
