The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Friday has released an official notification regarding withdrawal of results of the Paper I of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF examination 2016, that were declared on Thursday, July 20.
The Commission said in a notification that the results have been withdrawn because of some discrepancies due to a system error.
The notice also said that the results will be posted as soon as 'the limited issue is suitably addressed'.
As per reports, this year around 240,000 candidates had appeared for the re-examination conducted on June 4, 5, 6, 7 and 11.
Earlier, the commission also revised the dates of the examination after the question paper was leaked on social networking site Facebook.
The incident came to light when Neetu Singh, founder of KD Campus posted a page of the question paper on her Facebook wall just five hours before the commencement of the exam.
