Indian Airforce Aircraft AN-32 Missing

AN-32, an Indian Air Force aircraft en route to Port Blair is reported missing.

The aircraft took off today from the Tambaram airbase, Chennai to port Blair with 29 passengers.

The control room lost contact of the aircraft midair and has launched a massive search operation to locate the flight. The navy and Coast Guard are also deployed in the search mission. 

The coast guard has deployed their crew at the Bay of Bengal, while the Navy has launched a P-81 and one Dornier Aircraft and four search ships in search of the missing AN-32.
