The Bar Council of India has reacted resentfully to the on-going indefinite boycotts by the lawyers seeking unconditional withdrawal of the amendments to the advocates act.
The Bar council has issued a stern and final warning note to all the protesting lawyers to withdraw their strike and resume to the routine.
The Council has alleged that the strikes are tarnishing the stature of the judicial system to a great extent.
The Secretary of Bar Council of TN, Puducherry has issued the final date as 22nd July 2016 for the lawyers to withdraw all their protest/boycotts. Failure to adhere to the deadline would mean that the protestors who are office bearers/leaders of the Council will be suspended and shall be refrained to contest any elections within the Bar Council of India or Bar Associations.
