TN students who built sat meet PM Modi

A team of students involved in building the satellite 'Sathyabamasat', which was launched by ISRO last month, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Modi appreciated the efforts of the team in building a satellite to collect data on greenhouse gases. 'Sathyabamasat' was one of the 20 satellites launched by ISRO using launch vehicle PSLV-C34 on June 22, 2016.

The Sathyabamasat nanosatellite's mission objective is to monitor concentration of greenhouse gases present in the atmosphere, obtain pollution model for India through data collected, interpret the acquired data and represent concentration of greenhouse gases in parts per million.
