Burhan Wani Killing: Authorities impose curfew across Kashmir Valley Today

Srinagar: Curfew will be imposed across the Kashmir Valley today as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order, the authorities said on Thursday.

District Magistrates have issued the curfew orders in their respective areas of jurisdiction and the order will come into effect from the morning, an official spokesman said.

The spokesman said no vehicular movement will be allowed except for medical emergency vans.

The mobile phone network has been suspended to prevent rumour mongering, a police official said.

The mobile Internet services are already suspended in the Valley since Saturday.

Violent protests erupted in the state after the terrorist Burhan Wani's killing by security forces in an encounter.
