BJP National Secretary H Raja has created controversy again by linking a picture of ‘Kiss of love’ protest in Delhi to the IIT Tamil Thai Vazhuthu issue.
H Raja, who posted a picture yesterday in Twitter to counter attacks from the opposition that the BJP is trying to force Hindi and Sanskrit in State, has created a controversy by posting a picture from ‘Kiss of love’ protest to counter their attacks. H Raja posted the picture and tweeted,” For the attention of Vaiko, Stalin: This is what happened when you guys promoted Tamil culture in IIT.”
However, the picture which H Raja posted on Twitter claiming to be from ‘Kiss of love’ protest in Chennai IIT had nothing to do with the institution. The leader has used a picture from ‘Kiss of love’ protest which happened in Delhi and linked it with the Chennai IIT campus. The girl in the picture has already expressed her protest against the leader’s action.
Recently, the Chennai IIT was in news for playing a religious devotional song instead of Tamil Thai Vazhuthu during a function in which Central Minister Nitin Gadkari was the Chief Guest. Political leaders in the State protested saying that the BJP is trying to force Hindi, and Sanskrit in State. They also said that BJP has disrespected Tamil through their action.
