According to Police, Vignesh is an engineering student at a private college in Madurai and he resides with his family near Nethaji Road, Madurai. Yesterday, when Vignesh's parents went out to visit a temple, he has messaged his friends through Facebook that he is going to commit suicide. Later, his friends informed police who rushed to his house along with fire and rescue personnel. They broke into his house and found Vignesh unconscious and he has slit his wrist with a blade. Vignesh was immediately rushed to Police. Madurai Police are investigating whether he attempted suicide due to heartbreak or did he attempt because of blue whale game.
