10 Styling Tips from the Men’s Shows

The men’s shows in London, Florence, Milan and Paris, which concluded last week, featured models on the runway in sculptural pieces, sequins — and really short shorts. But there were also loads of things that are easier to wear: think khakis, stripes and polo shirts — and you won’t have to wait a year till they hit stores. Here, a roundup of tips and tricks inspired by the men’s shows of new ways to wear things — some of which you probably already own.

1) Don’t be Shy About Layering Stripes

Breton-striped tops, a perennial summer favorite, found their way to the runway this season. But a more fun way to wear them (that shows a bit of personality) is to layer contrasting striped pieces over each other.
