One person was killed and 20 others were missing today in a landslide triggered by heavy rains in south-west China.
The landslide buried 29 people in Pianpo village, Bijie city of Guizhou Province, officials said.
Nine people have been pulled out of the rubble, but one died of injuries. The other eight have been rushed to the hospital.
The rescue work is ongoing, and the local government has dispatched personnel to relocate residents to avoid secondary disasters, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
