The grand inauguration of the Ganga Anaesthesia Refresher Course 2023 (GARC 2023) was organized on Wednesday in Coimbatore. The highlight of the inaugural was the Pan India launch of Arcomed' ag, Target-Controlled Infusion (TCI) pumps for anesthesia


The grand inauguration of the Ganga Anaesthesia Refresher Course 2023 (GARC 2023) was organized on Wednesday in Coimbatore. The highlight of the inaugural was the Pan India launch of Arcomed' ag, Target-Controlled Infusion (TCI) pumps.



Accordingly, Arcomed is being launched for the first time in India and is being brought into Indian markets. Having rooted for more than five decades in serving the health sector, this Switzerland company's high-end product focuses on imparting Infusion technology and delivering Innovative and comprehensive solutions to patient care.



Subsequently, four different pumps were launched today.

AI in Health was one of the key discussions of the inaugural session, wherein significant developmental milestones and revolutionary aspects were spotlighted.



The speaker mentioned that AI Mimics the human mind and cannot innovate beyond human capability. The toughest part for AI to breach is Art. This was followed by a sequence of presentations of AI in three dimensions as Early detection, especially in breast cancers, helps in treatment and decision-making.

Ravi Theja, CEO, Focus Imaging Systems Andrew Pritchard, Director, Arcomed ag Arwinder Singh Bamra, Asia-Pacific Business Manager, Arcomed ag, Dr. Balavenkat, Organizing Chair and many prominent anaesthesiologists from across the globe were part of the launch and will continue to give their presence for the upcoming sessions which will last until 19th March.
