A special fever camp was conducted at the Tirupur Weavers Colony Corporation School on behalf of the Tirupur Municipal Corporation, where a class 4 student is undergoing treatment for dengue fever.

His daughter Azhagu Meenakshi is studying in Class 4 at the P N Road Weavers Colony Corporation School in Tirupur. She developed fever on Friday last week. She was undergoing medical treatment for the same but the fever did not go away for more than four days.
Meenakshi underwent a blood test at a private hospital on Wednesday. She was diagnosed with dengue fever. The doctors then recommended that he be admitted to the Tirupur Government Medical College Hospital.
But her parents took the girl to their hometown Madurai district and admitted her to thirumangalam government hospital. Pandian, father of Azhagu Meenakshi, said that the doctors are examining her there and are currently undergoing treatment.
