Ambulance team aides pregnant woman to deliver at home near Karumathampatti

Coimbatore: The medical team of an ambulance that helped a pregnant woman at her home after she was in pain near Karumathampatti has been showered with praises.

Kailash and Baby Devi hail from Senniandavar Kovil near Karumathampatti in Coimbatore. Baby Devi, who is pregnant and had advanced to labour in the house last night. As a result, she was in Childbirth pain.

Her husband immediately informed the 108 ambulance. Following this, an ambulance was rushed from Karumathampatti area. At that time, when the doctor and assistant in the ambulance examined the woman, It was revealed that Baby Devi's childbirth pain had increased and the baby's head had come out.

Considering that it would be dangerous to take her to the hospital, the ambulance medical expert Murugan and assistant pilot Pandi helped her deliver the baby at home.

In this, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Following this, the mother and the child were taken to the Somanur Government Primary Health Hospital in the ambulance for treatment. The doctor who examined the mother and the baby said that both are doing well.

The people of the area expressed their appreciation to the ambulance crew who delivered at home considering the urgency and safety.
