Chief Secretary Irai Anbu praises Coimbatore government doctors for attaching a severed arm

The Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu V. Irai Anbu has congratulated the doctors of the Coimbatore Government Hospital who successfully attached the severed arm.


Coimbatore: The Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu Irai Anbu has congratulated the doctors of the Coimbatore Government Hospital.

Ganesh, 21, from Odisha, was admitted to the Coimbatore Government Hospital April 8, 2022 after being cut by a scythe in a family dispute. The Plastic and Reconstruction department treated him for 5 hours and successfully joined his hands to his body.

In a letter sent by the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu Irai Anbu praising this, "congratulations to the doctors and medical staff who assisted with the surgery. Wishing Coimbatore Government Hospital on its many achievements in the medical field."
