Services are offered for free on the digital platform

The brainchild of Dr. Ahila Ayyavoo, her doctor friends who offer consultation service on the platform is back to service patients for free. Against the growing number of coronavirus cases and a spike in the omicron variant, YANA India has from today onwards, began its services which includes, offering free tele-consultation service, providing district-wise list of availability of different categories of beds at both government and private hospitals, providing information like list of covid-19 testing labs, information about guidelines to adhere to for home quarantine and list of food providers.

It is the second innings of offering tele- consultation services for the team at YANA India

Having offered tele-consultation services for free, to more than 900 patients and their families who were diagnosed with coronavirus in May and June 2021, YANA India is back to doing what it does best. The team of doctors are ready to offer free tele-consultation services and the group of volunteers are back to perform tasks, to ensure that the patients have a comfortable experience while using the platform.

A panel of 33 doctors from various specialities have volunteered to offer tele-consultation services for free.

YANA India is need of the hour

Speaking to SimpliCity, Kannan, one of the individuals associated with the initiative from the days of its inception shares that YANA India is need of the hour. “The omicron variant of the coronavirus has not spared people in the city, state and country. Patients who are diagnosed with omicron can now stay in home isolation and connect with medical specialists from the comfort of their home. By confining to their homes, they are bringing down the chances of spreading the infection.” Kannan said. In a bid to contain the spread of the highly contagious omicron variant, it is essential for the public to strictly adhere to covid appropriate behaviour.
