Causes anxiety issues: Energy drink contains caffeine in a high amount which causes anxiety in the body. It leads to a lot of sweating, nausea, tremors in the body.

Problems related to teeth: Energy drinks contain sugar in a great amount which causes tooth decay. Pale teeth, cavity, teeth erosion etc. are some of the most common side effects of energy drink on the dental health. It even causes teeth sensitivity.

Causes insomnia: Energy drink leads to an extreme flow of blood in the body. This makes you alert and conscious. Eventually, your sleep also vanishes. Thus, do not drink an energy drink at least 6-7 hours before you sleep.




Cardiac arrest: Changes in the heartbeat is one of the most common side effects of energy drink. It also increases the symptoms of cardiovascular problems. There is caffeine in the energy drink that leads to the problem of cardiac arrest as well.

Weight gain: Energy drinks are the most common reason for gaining weight. It has a high amount of sugar in it which leads to the problem of obesity. Half a litre of energy drink contains 220 calorie that causes excess weight gain.
