Foods to Improve Immune System

Having a strong immune system is very important in having a healthy body. By having a strong immune system, you are much less prone to having diseases, sicknesses and illnesses. Also, you will find ourself being much more alert and less sleepy.

Yoghurt:

Yoghurt contains a substance called live active cultures. Live active cultures are a type of healthy bacteria. Do not get scared by the word bacteria. Surprisingly, it does miracles to your body. It cleans out your body and removes any harmful bacteria from your system.In addition, yoghurt is a type of diary product and contains calcium which helps you get stronger bones. By having stronger bones, it contributes to help improve your immune system.

Oats:

By having a bowl of milk and oats, it is one of the healthiest breakfasts ever. Oats is a very healthy food. They barely need any chemicals to help grow so pesticides and herbicides will most probably not befound in oats. In addition, oats are very high in fiber which greatly helps improve your immune system.

Garlic:

Another food to help your immune system is garlic. Garlic, just like yoghurt, cleans on your system allowing your immune system to become stronger. Garlic has a bitter taste to it which kills of germs and bacteria. Therefore, add garlic as seasoning your meals instead of other artificial substances.

Tea:

Tea is a very important drink. By drinking tea at least once every day, your immune system will become stronger and stronger. Tea is completely natural, made out of simply tea leaves and hot water.

Sweet Potatoes:

Furthermore, sweet potatoes are an excellent food to add to your diet to help improve your immune system. Eating a bit of natural sweetness is very important and must be included in at least one of your meals each day. Sweet potatoes help prevent many diseases and are rich in Vitamin C.

Mushrooms:

Lastly, mushrooms are another food to help strength your immunity to diseases. Mushrooms are great to help reduce infections and swelling in your body causes by germs or bacteria. By doing so, your immune system is improving and "learning" to fight off these germs themselves.

All in all, having a strong immune system definitely helps make your entire body stronger. Try to incorporate more of these foods in your everyday meal to help boost your immune system.
