On Independence Day, the Chief Minister presents these awards to deserving individuals and organisations for their service to the women community.
District Collector K Rajamani has invited applications from deserving candidates who have been serving the community in areas of language, management, arts, education and culture, at least for the last five years. The eligibility for applying specifies that organisations need to be registered, and an English and Tamil booklet to be submitted. The last day to apply in the Social Welfare Department with appropriate documents is June 20, 2019.
