Coimbatore: In a bid to enable Higher Secondary students to register themselves online with employment exchanges at their respective schools, the School Education and Labour and Employment Departments along with the Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu proposed the scheme in 2011.

Since then hundreds of students who have cleared their Class 12 exams have enrolled themselves at the District Employment Exchange through online portals from their respective schools.
Through an official communique, the District Collector K Rajamani has requested students to enroll themselves since distribution of mark sheets have commenced from June 3. "Students who have passed the Higher Secondary examinations can enroll with the employment exchange between June 3-17," stated the Collector.
