Coimbatore : In a bid to make Sulur, a 100% voting assembly constituency, the District Collector and Election officer has requested all the voters of Sulur assembly to use their right to vote on May 19.
Coimbatore : In a bid to make Sulur, a 100% voting assembly constituency, the District Collector and Election officer has requested all the voters of Sulur assembly to use their right to vote on May 19.
All the 324 poll booths have been equipped with all basic facilities and security for the smooth conduct of by- poll in Sulur on May 19.
Voting will commence from 7 AM and end by 6 PM. The voters who are yet to receive their booth slip can obtain directly from the booth officers at their respective booths. However, these booths slips can be used only to ascertain the voter information and as a guide for finding out their respective poll booths and cannot be used for casting vote.
Voters can use anyone ID proof among 11 ID proofs such as voter ID, passport, driving license, government Employee id, Aadhar card, etc.
Any organization failing to provide holiday on the voting day will be subjected to legal actions based on the orders of the Election Commission.
