Changes in pattern of Train Services

According to a Southern Railway statement, "Due to insertion of RCC boxes at Bridge No. 349 and 198 over the Erode to Karur section, the following changes are made in the operation of trains originating and passing through the Salem Division on November 20 and November 27, respectively.

According to a Southern Railway statement, "Due to insertion of RCC boxes at Bridge No. 349 and 198 over the Erode to Karur section, the following changes are made in the operation of trains originating and passing through the Salem Division on November 20 and November 27, respectively.

Diversion of train services on November 20 

1.  Train No.56320 Coimbatore to Nagercoil Passenger will be diverted via Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Karur instead of the existing route through Erode, Karur, by skipping the stoppages between Erode to Karur stations. 

2.  Train No. 56712 Palakkad town- Tiruchirappali Junction Passenger (diverted route will be via Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Karur instead of the existing route thorough Erode, Karur by skipping the stoppages between Erode to Karur stations. 

Partial Cancellation of Train Services on November 20

1.  Train No. 56825 Erode –Tirunelveli Passenger is partially cancelled between Erode to Karur. 

2.  T. No. 56841 Tiruchirappali- Erode Passenger is short terminated at Karur and partially cancelled between Karur to Erode. 

Regulations of Train services on November 20 

1. Train No. 56826 Tirunelveli-Erode Passenger is regulated for 35 minutes at Karur Jn.

Diversion of Train services on November 27 

1.  Train No.56320 Coimbatore to Nagercoil Passenger will be diverted via Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Karur instead of the existing route through Erode, Karur, by skipping the stoppages between Erode to Karur stations.

Partial Cancellation of Train Services on November 27.

1.  Train No. 56825 Erode –Tirunelveli Passenger is partially cancelled between Erode to Karur. 

2.  Train No. 56841 Tiruchirappali – Erode Jn passenger is short terminated at Karur and partially cancelled between Karur- Erode Jn. 

3.  T. No. 56826 Tirunelveli – Erode Jn passenger is short terminated at Karur and partially cancelled between Karur- Erode Jn.

4.  Train No. 56846 Erode – Jolarpettai passenger is partially cancelled between Erode to Salem . 

Regulation of train services on November 27

1.  Train No. 16340 (Nagercoil- Mumbai) is regulated for 50 minutes between Karur to Pugalur. 

2.  Train No. 56713 Tiruchirappalli to Palakkad town passenger is regulated for 20 minutes at Karur.

Due to Maintenance of traction work at Arakkonam Station/Yard from November 10 to November 14, the following changes are made in the operation of trains originating and passing through the Salem Division from November 10 to November 14.

November 10 and November 11 (SAT/SUN) (Between 23.25 hrs to 02.25 hrs) 

1.  Train No. 12681 ( Departure Chennai on Saturday) Chennai Central- Coimbatore to be regulated for 115 minutes at Tiruvalangadu station.

2.  Train No. 22649 (Departure Chennai on Saturday) Chennai Central-to Erode, Yercaud Express, to be regulated for 170 minutes at Tiruvalangadu station.

3.  Train No. 12511 ( Departure Chennai on Saturday) Gorakhpur- Thiruvananthapuram Central will be regulated for 115 minutes at Tiruvallur station

11/12.11.2018 (Sunday/Monday) (Between 23.25hrs to 02.25hrs) 

1.  Train No. 22649 (Departure Chennai on Sunday) Chennai central to Erode Yercaud express to be regulated for 180 minutes at Tiruvalangadu station

2.  Train No. 22647( Departure Chennai on Sunday) Korba- Thiruvanthapuram central will be regulated for 115 at Tiruvallur station.

November 12 & /13 (Monday/Tuesday) (Between 23.25 hrs to 02.25 hrs) 

1.  Train No. 12511( Departure Chennai on Monday) Gorakhpur-Thiruvanthapuram Central will be regulated for 95 minutes at Kadambattur station. 

November 13 & 14 (Tuesday/Wednesday) (Between 23.25 hrs to 02.25 hrs) 

1.  Train No. 22649 (Departure Chennai on Sunday) Chennai Central-Erode, Yercaud Express, to be regulated for 180 minutes at Tiruvalangadu station.

2.  Train No. 22645 ( Departure Chennai on Sunday) Indore-Thiruvanthapuram Central will be regulated for 120 minutes at Kadambattur station.
