Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar inaugurated the Mission Indradhanush vaccination camp in Coimbatore. The first phase will be held from today to 12th, the second phase from September 13 to 16 and the third phase from October 9 to 14.

The camp was inaugurated by District Collector Kranthi Kumar.

District Health Department Joint Director Aruna, Corporation Commissioner Prathap, Government Hospital Dean Nirmala and doctors were present.

The medical camp will be conducted in three phases from today to 12th, from September 13 to 16 and from October 9 to 14.

The district collector instructed them to immediately administer the vaccine doses to be administered to the children and the vaccine doses which have failed to be administered so far.
Speaking on the occasion, Joint Director of Health Aruna said that in Coimbatore district, the required stock of vaccines and vaccines has been placed for the camp. The vaccination workers are on standby and field workers from public health and children's ICDS grievances will be involved.
The areas that need more attention in this camp are makeshift slums in urban areas, brick kiln hilly villages and villages with limited transport facilities.
Moreover, those who have migrated to building work and industrial areas for employment opportunities from outside the state are vaccinating their children.
The migrants are informed through the managers of the company where they work and are requested to visit anganwadi centres or health sub-centres to get vaccinated and benefit from it.
The face will be held from 9 am to 4 pm.
