Two-Phase Registration Camps Announced for Kalaignar Women Rights Scheme - District Collector

The Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi kumar Pati I.A.S. announced on Tuesday that two phases of camps will be held to help women apply for the Kalaignar Women Rights Scheme. The first phase will run from the 24th to the 4th of August, while the second phase will take place from the 5th to the 16th of August. The camps are being organized help people benefit from this scheme.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi kumar Pati I.A.S. said on Tuesday that application and registration camps for the Kalaignar Women Rights Scheme will be held in two phases.

According to a statement issued by the district administration, the first phase of the application registration camp will be held from August 24th to August 4th, and the second phase camp will be held from August 5th to August 16th.

The first phase will be conducted in 212 fair price shops in Coimbatore, 584 fair price shops in village panchayat areas of all revenue circles, and 43 fair price shops in Valparai municipality, and the second phase will be conducted in 253 fair price shops in corporation areas and 206 fair price shops in all municipal areas. It has been reported that 103 Fair Price Shops will be hosted in all municipal areas except Valparai.

It has been informed that application registration will take place on all days, including Sundays, from 9.30 am to 1 pm and again from 2 pm to 5.30 pm.

While registering for the application, the mandatory documents to be carried are an Aadhaar card, family card, electricity bill receipt and bank book for verification. It has also been informed that the applicants' Aadhaar numbers will be entered and their fingerprints will be verified through a biometric device if the fingerprint registration is not correct, an OTP will be received through the mobile phone linked to the Aadhaar card. It is also mentioned that those born before September 15, 2022, are eligible to apply for the scheme.
