Arrangements have been made by the TN Tourism Department for devotees to travel to Tirupathi for a fare of Rs. 4,000 and return after the Darshan, along with food being provided as part of the fare.
Coimbatore: In the first-ever tourist initiative of its kind by the Tamil Nadu Government, the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department has arranged for special buses from Coimbatore to Tirupathi on behalf of the State Transport Corporation.
The first bus was flagged off by the District Collector, G S Sameeran at the Tamil Nadu Hotel in Gandhipuram.
The Collector also distributed bags containing snacks to the passengers travelling to Tirupathi, who also took pictures with him.

Those who wish to avail of these special buses go can either book on www.ttdconline.com or go to the Tamil Nadu Hotel in the city's Gandhipuram area and register in person. Rooms for freshening up at Tirupathi will also be provided. It has also been informed that a guide will be present for passengers on arrival at Tirupathi and will take guide them for the Tirupathi Swamy Darshan Alamelu Mangai Darshan.
